Quick update on the raw diet; they're doing amazing! We've added some supplements now to ensure they're getting all the nutrients they need and they're loving it. :) Every meal is a little different and they're always excited to see what they get next. 

 

The biggest difference thus far? Get this; before, on a supposedly "high-quality" kibble, they would empty an entire 5 gallon jug of water every 5-7 days. That's 4-5 jugs of water per month. We've now had them on raw for just over 4 weeks and I only just changed the 5 gallon jug on their water station yesterday. ONE jug in a month, compared to 4 or 5!!!!! Unbelievable how dehydrated they were on kibble. At times they would stand at the bowl drinking for literally 2 minutes straight at a time. Now, we rarely see them drink and it's only for maybe 5 to 10 seconds max at a time. 

 

Here's a look at their dinner the other night. Tripe, goose gizzard, pure pumpkin paste, and whole organic quail eggs (yes, they eat the shell and all, and they love 'em). :P

Great documentary that I recommend all cat/dog owners to watch is "Pet Fooled" on Netflix. Quite an eye-opener.

dogs are so cute, would never own one myself because i would forget to walk them and they would shit everywhere and so on(uuu kinda like my cat actiually ?). Its great that my cousin has a pupper though, its so fun to play with her :D 

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

I'm thinking I would have that same expression if my bare arse was sitting in the snow!

 

All seriousness aside, my ex and I had a border collie that just loved snow although his reaction the first time he saw it was hilarious. There was a single step into the old travel trailer we lived in at the time. When we opened the door the morning of the first snowfall to let himelf outside to "take care of business", he started to bound out like he usually did but, when his front paws hit that step, he saw the snow and put on the brakes. His tail end went up in the air and he almost flipped over. After recovering, he bent down, sniffed the snow, touched it tentatively with a paw, then bounded on out. He frolicked around in it--even rolling in it--for a while before he remembered the reason he needed to be let out. All this time, my ex and I were laughing ourselves silly.

Lol, yeah it's funny how they react to snow for the first time. That's hilarious! ?

 

As short as their fir is, our bullies don't seem to feel the cold and absolutely love the snow. Even on days when its like -20°C, they still want to go out and play. The deeper the snow, he more fun they have, pouncing like foxes going after mice below (which they have actually done and succeeded, lol).

I like that they can have a bit of a tussle with you, it's not a macho thing.. at least not for me anyway. I would love to have a pitbull, they are such lovely dogs... it's the bad owners that give dogs a bad name, they need to be disciplined when appropriate, same as you would your kids... except dogs learn faster what is NOT allowed. They can still be naughty and sneaky, but they are such loveable rogues that it's hard to stay mad at them... and they have such guilty faces, LOL.
