The German Shepard I had possessed a tail that probably should have been registered as a lethal weapon. She was great, protective even, with my kids but would occasionally knock them down with it when they were little.

Update on Dinky.

 

She is adapting to the cage very well, I cover it with a blanket so she feels safer, is warmer and keeps her from seeing anything going on around her. She makes a few sounds immediately after putting her in, but after like 10 seconds she quietens down. So very pleased with that :D

Crate training is one of the best fundamental things you can do with your dog. Glad she's adapting to it nicely. :)

She's actually enjoying being in her crate now, she didn't want to come out when we got home from doing some shopping today. And she's definitely less bitey lately too, which is awesome as we were concerned for a while that she might be a problem case. Will get a  better front on picture later... and without my dad's slippers in the shot :D#
