The truth that has been haunting us all..... Battleroyal games are the new Minecraft.

 

But on a serious note, they are sweeping the market like a storm. It is the new "meta" of games to be in the battle royal genre. First, there was PUPG and then Fortnite and then well.... a million different kinds of battle royal games. You can't talk to an 8-year-old without them talking about Forntnite. The truth is that people either like them or hate them. Just your preference on other games losing market share. The reason in my opinion that developers and studios are making battle royal games is to make money. They just want to have microtransactions and charge $30 for a skin. Belgium baned loot boxes because people were getting mad that they did not get some ultra-rare skin so they spent $300 trying to get that one skin. So that is my opinion.

Tried that on release, actually a fun game to play. 

 

Not sure if it was lack of players or a server issue(it did take a while to find games) but the games would only ever have 30-35 people in them, seemed a bit boring because of that.

Battlefield was here before PUBG and you do have fields in the PUBG game on which the players battle.

PUBG can sue Battlefield if they start using urban maps, rural fields are fine.

Oh I saw this coming for a while when they're making new modes and additional gameplay features. The BR more really can be fun as BF style though.

Well, they removed the rush game mode, which had been in all recent bf titles. Guess they want those people to play operations now.

I've been a fan of the Battlefield games since the very beginning. Played nearly everyone of them, but had no interest in BF2142 or Hardline. I am hoping BFV will not disappoint, as I do not play other games. 

 

 

Also, I think the hit-counter and all other text in the middle of the screen should be done away with, or at least moved to the upper right corner of the screen. I do not like this being shown right in the middle of the screen like this. Too much of a distraction during intense fighting. Maybe we can have the option to turn it off.

 

 

Looking forward to seeing more of BFV!
