I do understand that not all technology is good, but what makes a piece of technology good or bad is how its used, IP whitelisting/blacklisting can be used very badly like this, or it can be used to stop internet based attacks like DoSing by blacklisting the IP doing the attack from even touching the server, reducing the attacks effectiveness, which is very good.

17 states also still have sodomy laws on the books (with 13 banning it entirely), but that's also not enforceable because of Lawrence v Texas (and because who is going to listen to the government while doing it)

good luck hiding it? dude that's the easiest part. minimize it to tray, close when done. Don't have an icon on the machine, you can even uninstall reinstall torrent client as needed with no trace. As for porn storage, I went into the C under program files and created a folder called Program Files 69. That was a joke for myself, obviously porn, but no one looks in the program files, so no biggie. Also it was embedded in a list of folders labeled Program Files ## 1-100 so it didn't even stand out if you got that far

i don't live in Texas, but it's called the "Obscene Device Law"

still seems to be up in the air to whether or not it's still in affect. it seems the law is still in affect, but very difficult for anyone to actually be charged for breaking it
