Is this forum as pro-intel anti-AMD as tom's hardware ?

i was expelled from tom's hardware cause i asked simple questions about AMD . so after almost an entire life of intel ownership i decide to go AMD yesterday.

nope, we have had some extreme anti one side pro the other but they were banned. 

I recommend a mix and have built a mix of AMD and Intel over the last 4 years. 

Good luck, Have fun, Build PC, and have a last gen console for use once a year. I should answer most of the time between 9 to 3 PST

i remember our first computer was a 20286 (?) i never had AMD , in the past few years i've had two i5's and two i7's . where do i post pictures of my new components ?

no back then i asked if fx 9590 was any good . now i'm  a proud owner of a 1900x . i don't wanna flamebait i just wanna know why AMD lags behind

I'm kind of interested in those "simple questions about AMD." I've moseyed around that forum and I don't think I ever recall anti-AMD, pro-Intel shenanigans, though I mostly spent my time in the Displays sub.

as for where to post, if you building it and want to show it off as you do build logs. if you just want to show off there is a thread in general discussion.

We try to stay in the middle. We highly discourage Intel/AMD discussions unless someone is planning a new build or upgrade.

Because they have to compete with Nvidia as well. They don't have the funds to do good r and d on CPU's and GPU's. So they have to pick one or the other.

i mean i was on tom's hardware i asked simple questions about AMD and if they're worth the less money , and then i commented on intel's R&D center in that specific country and then BAM i was banned .

Honestly, I'm not a fan of Tom's Hardware.

 

Not about the community, most of them seem decent from what I've seen. But the site is hard to navigate for me, and it just seems a bit strict. I haven't heard a lot of positive experiences from them.

@OP You're more likely to see someone accusing Linus of selling out just because he says something positive about a company. It's pretty ridiculous. As he pointed out during one WAN Show episode, people can't even agree on who he's selling out to. James (sarcastically) said they just switch to whoever sent the last check. xD

FWIW I have a Ryzen 7 CPU right now. It was the first AMD CPU I've ever bought. Not that it has made me an AMD fanboy but I'm sure not in any hurry to return to Intel...
