No you don't.

Check out my hardware list; Even it doesn't take gold compared to some you can browse.

Have something really odd I'd bet no one here has.

I'll get a pic of that up later.

EDIT:

Here it is - Premio 219H motherboard with the SiS 5571 chipset and yes, it still works.

I’m sure there’s people everywhere with those parts, this site really a win for you. I have two working systems at my house with phenom 2s and several sticks of ddr2. I even have street fighter edition drr2 in the original packaging.

it’s not a competition and no one wins, value (especially with old pc parts) is in the eye of the beholder, for instance one of my phenom 2 builds I built for my grandpa before he past, and it’s my most well maintained system and my favorite, wouldn’t trade anything for it.

That's a solid rig, they're still usable today for internetty things and older games. A decent graphics card would go a long way and a bit of an overclock with even a modest air cooler over the stock intel shorty.

Actually just found an exactly matching 2x2 kit for another 10 bucks, might pick it too of it doesn't go up.

Not a 3D printer, but a small Proxxon PD250 lathe/mill center.

Yup, ran it for a while on a somewhat broken linux install I had on an SSD, decent performance although you do have a good 30% CPU usage at idle. Does show it's not at the top of its glory when doing stuff like updates...

Formatted the broken install and installed W10 and it indeed runs surprisingly good as long as you don't get into stuff it lacks hardware support for that came later. Very snappy response, web browsing works great, youtube is OK up to 1440p, although that's at 70% CPU usage and it draws 80W for the privilege... Viewing a 4K video file is a no go.

Did a slight OC to 2.5 through FSB and it doesn't exceed 70°C at full load with the stock cooler with minimal fan speedup.

Got my hands on a couple systems in the last few weeks. Got one of them cleaned up last week and finally took a few pictures of it. It was pretty nasty at first, but after cleaning and re-assembly it posted right away. Its an IBM PC 350, Pentium 166mhz, 32mb ram. Has 1mb S3 Trio 64 on board but I stuck in a Matrox MGA Millennium 2mb and swapped out the 2gb Maxtor that was in it (clicking like mad) with a 3.2Gb Western Digital Caviar drive and did a fresh Windows 95C install.

I have a real soft spot for those old WD Caviar drives. Our first pc had a Caviar 11000 in it (also 1gb) and it's startup routine/sounds are forever locked away in my rose colored nostalgia box haha.

The ram you have there looks to be a 4mb stick, and at 70ns is likely a FPM (Fast Page Mode) module.
