Car Enthusiast Club [Now Motorcycle friendly!] - First thread to 150k! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

@AlwaysFSX to redo your question, what would win a drag race;

My dad's G35 Sedan 5-AT or my friend's 2014 Dodge RAM 5.7L 8-speed

supposedly the power to weight ratio's are really close O_O

I think the RAM would win though, that transmission in my dads car is pretty terrible.

I haven't the SLIGHTEST idea because I haven't driven either of those vehicles. I've driven my friend's Xterra and Frontier though so I have an inkling of how they'll do.

Also, PSA if you own a newer Chrysler, RAM, Dodge, or Jeep go immediately to your dealer and demand the latest software update. Hackers can take complete control of your vehicle if you do not have the latest update.

(yet another reason to not buy a new car imo)

There's a video on YouTube of the same peeps hacking a carolla, I watched it a year or so ago while stumbling around on vice's channel

yeah I heard of that  but it's a newer one.

Mine is a 2001, so im not really too concerned xD Only real concern is someone stealing it, but that won't kill me.

Why not be hyped ON page 900?

You're supposed to get hyped for the 1,000th page at that point. Duh.

I loved the look of the monsters but would not buy one until very recently. Air cooled engines are just not a great plan.

But now the 1200 Monster is water cooled, so it is on my short list for my next bike.

Crashes suck no matter what you are on/in.

Plus the $/performance on bikes is miles higher than cars.

And chicks dig motorcycles, just saying.
