Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

They published that book long ago for myself...

Also, people can be allergic to Soy. If someone decides to ever do that thing where they attempt to strip a wire with their teeth and get sick, thats not cool either.

its kinda funny how the uk trusts you more with an open aired motorcycle at a younger age more than an enclosed vehicle. their logic is absolutely fucked up.

In Portugal you can also get a license to ride a 125cc bike at 16.

I mean, a 125cc isn't that fast. But I do get your point...

Mine does but they is it charge a lot for parking, like $300/semester. So I park about 8/10ths of a mile away in a free spot and walk the rest

makes the commute interesting though, kinda like it.

same, although for me, i only have to walk like 5 or 6 blocks. (it is cold here though...)

I never bought a parking pass in college. The way the student lots and the engineering buildings were laid out you could park closer to your classes by parking on the street a couple of blocks off campus.

I didn't bring a car my freshman year, wanted to simplify. YMMV.

I refuse to park on the street (i see parking incidents all the time on my walk to school, they don't teach proper parallel parking here in driving schools so it's always a free for all lol)

So I park behind a business that typically has a bunch of open spots. No one has seemed to mind in the last few years... And if they ever do I have many other places I can park, it'll just make my walk a bit longer lol

In my experience the people who cant parallel park, don't. So I can avoid potential door dings by parking on the street over in a lot where Katie who doesn't give a single fuck about her car or yours will fling her door open into my car.

Two years I lived about a mile off campus so I just left the car in the garage and walked, the other two years I parked on the street without issue. Perhaps your area is different.

Even when the car I drove (02 Focus ZX3) was nothing special, I still couldn't bring myself to subject it to the horrors of a college parking lot. But hey, you do you man.

i guess, since it's the only car you have as a form of transportation if something goes wrong. but really now i'm really debating if i should really bring a car to college or not.

Really depends on your specific situation. If you're staying in the dorms and there's a reasonable public transportation system set up, I probably would recommend you not. At least for the first year. But if you're going to be living off campus and/or the bus situation is not great, then that would change things.

i mean, san jose state is like a 2 hour drive from home, so i'd like to be able to return home on breaks and such, and in case i need to get out of town, i have my car, so i can leave when i want to. on the other hand, it's right in the middle of downtown, with some good ass public transport, like BART, where i can travel around the entire bay area by metro, so sometimes if i don't feel like driving to say san fran, i can take bart. there are advantages and disadvantages to having a car in college.

So it looks like I only have three lug nuts on all four of my wheels for some reason or another. Just to be safe I went to AutoZone and got some lug nuts, but it turns out the lug nuts on my wheels are not conical and sit flat on the wheel hole. But I went and bought the conical ones.

Is it okay to put those on there? Or should I just stick with what I have for now and get the proper ones later on (I get paid this Thursday so I'll have some money for mods and all)?

^These youtubers are liars. The car is either a stolen car, or an insurance scam, probably be parted out after its reported "stolen" by these hooligans.

How many rental cars you see with stickers on them that arent of the rental car agency?

Let alone 2 Eminem stickers.

I have a feeling there was wheel locks on those 4 and they removed them for some reason... As to why they didn't put normal lugs in their place is anyone's guess...

All that camber and you not cornering enough :P

but I don't blame you, I run my tires down until I absolutely have to change them too. But I usually get a flat before that happens lol

I'm committed to spending as little money on the BMW as I can get away with... so no alignment :D

I've actually had the tires for months now, just never got around to getting them mounted.  about a week ago I started to feel a vibration from the car, so I figured it was time to get off my lazy ass... haha

So the entire yard is frozen, layer of ice with about 4 inches of heavy thick snow on it. We don't get light fluffy snow, it's super thick and heavy whenever we get lake effect. Of course we had to get a warm week the one week you'd want it to be nice and cold and snowy

And of course the Saab got stuck in the yard because of how bad it is. So I did a burnout on accident and now have white walls

I've decided. White walls need to be a thing again
