my online quote for canada was around 450 a month for a 16 year old xD  was looking at buying a 2000 e46 323is

really? for me, a 16 year old living in california can insure a 2003 m5 for 160 a month.

ya its ridiculous, with my g2 or whatever with driver education a 1998 wrx sti would have been about 350$, and the 323i was around 450 mark

Somewhat car related ~ish~

Im trying to convince my parrents that getting a 3d printer will help me progress towards my dream job (dream job is gunsmithing, wich requires prototyping wich requires 3d printing knowledge) and the printer can basicaly print anything that is plastic so it could easily be used for car stuff too!

Becase a car is the second most dangerous weapon you'll ever operate, second only to firearms - the insurance is worth the cost to me.

yeah, but i'm trying to lighten the load my dad already has to pay to insure the other 3 cars. it's like 6 grand a year alone on insurance.

im thinking og things like gear knobs, misc buttons/keycaps, under dash cable management and other things that are subject to wear and tear/can be improved upon.

I think an M5 is fast enough already.

Why not just get an E36 then? The parts are cheap as chips.

i'm not a fan of the e36. too boxy. the e39 is a nice blend of curves and edges.

What probably happened was someone tried to ease into it, that didnt work, said well sumbitch HIT IT HARDER and then it broke. which is fine with other trucks, they're stout enough to take it but cars that're unibody ( are that year mustang unibody? Im not sure) just aren't that simple.

All years are unibody.

I know its a bit dated (few weeks now)

But im subbed to the mighty car mods channel on youtubes and they were working on a Mini cooper build and they ended up using a corsair H80 rad as an intercooler for their super charger.

Would of of been the most efficient mode of cooling due to limited space or would a 'good enough' approach been just fine?
