Here's a random reminder for you guys to check your car's current oil level.

I'll check my oil bit not tire pressure.if they look low I have Schwab check them

 

I check mine if there have been larger temperature changes.

Here's a random reminder for you guys to check your car's current oil level.

I dun' wanna.. Kinda because it's chilly and I don't want to go outside, crawl on the ground, remove a skid plate, and drain a little bit of oil because I'm stupid and put a bit too much in the first place.

Naw it's fine.

It's actually not, I'm running far too high of an oil pressure and don't want to damage the valves, but it's cold and a lot of work getting to the drain plug. :(

How much over full did you fill it? I'm usually running about a third of a quart over full. Honestly if it's not more than a quart too full and you went and got a replacement dipstick the measure could be half a centimeter off from what it is now.

Don't know exactly but I know it's too much.

i really want to go to the Cité de l'Automobile one of my dream museums (largest collection of Bugattis in the world) i should figure out a way to go to europe for two weeks and hit all of the automotive destinations in that time Ferrari factory Lamborghini factory pagani factory the vw factory/museum the Mercedes Benz factory/museum. if i plan that any time soon you guys will be seeing a flood of pictures on this thread xD

My cars don't burn or leak oil. Running out of oil is not one of the things I worry about.

I live about half an hour away from that museum and I've been there a few times. I's amazing. Your idea sounds like an awesome trip, I might steal that idea and go on little road trip myself

Lol, I never keep track. It's roughly 10-15k kms between changes for the Golf. 8-10k on the Elantra, only because it still under warranty. ;)

It completely depends on the circumstances, but I understand.

My daily beater is mostly short trips. It's a POS Chevy Blazer but I change the oil on it usually around 1500 miles. I get funny looks, but hey - the truck is picky, apparently. I get a little bit of piston slap when the oil gets past 1500 miles.
