Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

How much does a shop normally charge to mount 4 tires to wheels and for a 4 wheel alignment?

for me it's about $100 to have 4 tires installed an balanced.

alignment is usually around $80

*Very Important* when you get an alignment, ask for a report. This ensure three things:

1. That they actually do the alignment

2. They do it properly

3. you will know if something is potentially wrong with your suspension afterwards

When I get the car I'm going to be doing a fully new suspension, so that's not a worry of mine

that's what I do when I buy a used car >100K miles too.

New struts, check all the bushings and ball joints, replace everything that's broken and get an alignment.

like a brand new car, everytime.

Muh 50cc China scoot. Bought it cheap and have been fixing it up. Replaced the carb (<$20. Gotta love cheap China parts.) which fixed the major problems which were flooding/hard to start/not idling. I put in a "racing" CDI just to remove the rev limiter and I plan on removing the variator washer which limits top end speed. (I assume it has one.) Also I still need to buy the parts to fix the speedometer and fuel gauge. The speedo failed a long time ago and the odo shows 450 so all I know is that it's got more than 450 on it. I plan to sell it in the spring or maybe later depending on how much money I have by then, then I'll get a car. (I would get a motorcycle but my parents are mean.) I also changed all the fluids which was pretty easy since it has two fluids and takes not even a quart of oil. The previous owner did overfill the oil (Like over a quart was in the crankcase) so that's bad, but it seems to run happily. Fires right up when stone cold. (Before the carb change it took about a minute of cranking or minutes of whaling on the kick start to get it going.)

Well that's a safe design for the 2018 Expedition.. Just take a current Expedition and shove the new F-150 front end on it.

Thats like the paint from the post about the camaro. I didn't realise that it was a tipical thing for the concept cars.

EDIT: Does it look a little wider that the current one to anyone else? Looking at the tail lights and rear windshield?

Looks like the same width, just that the front fenders are more rounded towards the hood. Yeah concept vehicle in testing usually have pads and funky camo to throw off lines so it's much harder to see but it looks like Ford just doesn't give a shit this time around, it's kinda obvious what they did.

I found this on the interwebs when looking into FFB improvements. Haven't tried it yet but worth checking out:

http://forum.projectcarsgame.com/showthread.php?22938-Jack-Spade-FFB-Tweaker-Files

Also for G27, increase the deadzone range in FFB calibration to about .15. It'll help you feel some of the smaller bumps.

The DFGT setting im using is 0.07 for this. Helped a lot.

G25 is also a little different, supposedly you only need to set it to 0.03 for it.

LOL I've been using Jack's tweaker for the past month, definitely less noticeable clipping than default but still not as good of a steering feel than what I had in Assetto Corsa. Using the 6th profile, classic and bump.

Funny story I linked @MEC-777 a week ago about this but appreciate the reminder :)

Top tip is get adjusted to the tweak asap before you start messing with car setup lol.
