Dust filters every month-ish so it is pretty clean inside. But I will do the inside when I feel like it and I think it could use it.

I have a lot of dust filters, so dust never actually gets inside my case (had the build in this current case and haven't noticed hardly any dust inside of it) but i clean out my filters once a month? Sometimes twice a month.

Whenever I open it up to do something to my PC. Last time was last week when I wiped my harddrives and did a fresh OS install. Before that was early 2012 when I had to replace a broken sata cable

I do my laptop about once every 3 months or so, I notice it runs warmer if I don't, I don't have a desktop right now, but when I had one I did that one maybe 2-3 times a year, when I build my new one since I plan on putting so much money into it I will be keeping it as spotless as i can.

Be ghetto like linus and put a pantyhose as your fan filter.

Clean things with wet material. So dust would stay on floor and other surfaces. I don't know if it's effective. Try it. I wanna know if it acutally works

Dust is always there , Make sure you vaccum the sh*t outta there ,& if you're using some kind off fan to pump in fresh air from the outside , you might wanna orrient it  away from the window..
