You can clean it anywhere just make sure you have a broom or a vacuum. :)

Usually on my bed or some spare chair. Using vacuum near fan holes and compressed air inside.

E: I clean it so often that it hasn't that much of dust anyway.

Whatever you do DONT vaccum the inside of your computer it can cause static shocks to the components resulting in them failing.

I usually just use a can of air and blow it out of my case, I don't use a vacuum inside of it because of static shock but I make sure it's out of my case by using the canned air. Any dust on the floor after cleaning I just vacuum it up.

I do it when I feel like it needs to be cleaned. It hasn't happened yet. Most of the dust collects on my GPU's backplate.

Once a month has been suggested, but I tend to be less frequent (mainly because I forget or have other things I'm doing). First time I cleaned it was 6 months after getting it. I'd checked the insides through the sidepanel window and it looked clean enough, but when I took the front off and saw the front intake - man that filter was clogged. The dust was almost 1cm thick in places. So now I try and do it every 3 months or so.

Luckily the front dust filter seems to do a pretty good job of stopping dust getting into the case (even when clogged).

Edit: I'm in the UK.

Once a month normally because cat hair :/

I also have cats ( 2 cats) but I close my door most of the time.

Is once a month necessary?

How much?

I haven't done it for 4-6 months (Like I mentioned in main post), I am not sure how much my temps have changed but I guess we'll see when I am done.

I found an air bottle thingy for 99 SeK aka ca 10 bucks.

I have dust filters on every fan, so I don't have to do a lot of cleaning.
