No Video Signal Occasionally + Different Blue Screens
Rheinwasser replied to Rheinwasser's topic in Troubleshooting
I have tried that command but both for the /checkhealth and /restorehealth it comes up with an error saying that it cant execute these parameters in this context. The minidump folder is completely empty, do you have any idea why? -

No Video Signal Occasionally + Different Blue Screens
Rheinwasser replied to Rheinwasser's topic in Troubleshooting
Oh, by the way: I also got a SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION. I've justed the windows memory + drive check software that windows provides. I am going to try Memtest and SeaTools tomorrow, I just didn't have an USB stick handy. I will definitely try BlueScreenView tomorrow, I hadnt heard of it yet. I will also upload the minidump. Are you capable of diagnosing them? And if you had to guess: software or hardware? -
Hi, I am troubleshooting a system of a friend. It is an low-end-system with an AMD A8-6600 APU, 4GB of RAM, an AsRock motherboard and a kingston ssd. From time to time when you try to boot it the monitor doesnt receive a video signal (dvi). This is resolved after a forced reboot most of the time. The video signal is also occasionally lost while using the computer at no particular time. CPU and GPU stress tests both resulted in BSODs, CPU was IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and GPU BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER. I also randomly got an PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED AREA win32k.sys and a

Looking for touchpad cable
Rheinwasser replied to Rheinwasser's topic in Laptops and Pre-Built Systems
they are not included with the touchpads sadly. lenovo offers the entire base cover assembly for ~100 bucks which does not really help either. the thing is that i cannot be sure that the cable that is too long works because some of them are wider and have different connectors etc so i think that i have to find an NBX0001CQ00 but that does not return a single result on google. -
try another pc / another usb drive on your laptop.

try it on another port/pc.

Looking for touchpad cable
Rheinwasser replied to Rheinwasser's topic in Laptops and Pre-Built Systems
yeah, i know, but they all don't quite (either wrong length, wrong number of pins etc.) -
Hey y'all, I broke the touchpad cable on my Thinkpad S440 20AY and can find it absolutely nowhere (and the touchpad ist kinda important..). It is a ribbon cable which says CviLux E208903-3 AMV 20706 105C VW-1 (which only specifies the type of ribbion cable and not this specific cable i guess). It has a sticker on it NBX0001CQ00 (which is the exact cable that i am looking for i think). The connectors are on opposite sites when it lays down flat, it is 13cm long, 6mm wide on the end and 8mm in the middle. I will include a picture. I'd be thankful for any advice

propylenglycol + destilled water on gtx 960
Rheinwasser replied to Rheinwasser's topic in Troubleshooting
a short doesnt mean that it is permanently broken. so the issue might be fixed after cleaning it. it is worth a try. i just wanted to know how to go about it the best. no it was'nt. but it also wasn't supposed to be. i was looking for help, not for people to argue with. thank you for your input. -
