I have faith. Minecraft runs 1000X better on mobile than PC

Minecraft on PC is a joke performance/optimization-wise. I can't even believe it.

And my tablet with its Tegra 3, probably won't be able to handle it (at the very least for its absurdly slow SATA MLC SSD)

There is a night and day difference between the Windows 10/Mobile version.

The W10 version runs flawlessly on my laptop's A8 4555M, the standard version however runs like shit.

Considering the optimization that pubg has right now everyone get ready for 144p at 30 fps

Make sure to quote me or tag me when responding to me, or I might not know you replied! Examples:

Do this:

Quote

And make sure you do it by hitting the quote button at the bottom left of my post, and not the one inside the editor!

Or this:

@DocSwag

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

This just annoys me. This game should be on no other platform until they can actually make it acceptable on PC. Currently it's one of the worst optimized games I have ever seen with crazy unacceptable dips.

TBH Arma 3 is even worse... but at least it looks great and has much bigger maps.

PUBG looks terrible and runs terrible. So far I was not able to enjoy the game and I have dropped it after about 10h.

They can't optimize it to run smoothly on high end systems, yet it's going mobile.

Honestly, what does this have to do with the PC game? The article said it's being developed by an independent company, working alongside PUBG. Since it's a completely different platform, it will have to be rebuilt from ground up again.

The article says it will be co-developed, which means Bluehole will (obviously) have to do part of the job on their end. Which means using resources. Which due to some unknown reason after selling 20 million copies they obviously can't put towards optimization.

The ability to google properly is a skill of its own.

I think what people are missing is that it's not going to be the same game. Just the same IP, but a different team will create the game from the ground up following the theme/mechanics of the PC version, buts it's not going to be the same game. It will very much be a mobile version

If i had to speculate on how they will do it you would have a smaller map, quicker games with say 20 people to each game.

Me: Hey PlayerUnknown, can you fix the servers to be at least 60 tickrate so it doesn't feel like I've died unfairly every match?

PU: I'm making PUBG a phone game btw

if it's cross-platform that's just dumb.

With a controller and a steady enough FPS, I can see it being somewhat fair/competitive otherwise cross-platform sounds like the worst idea ever :P
