I'm 37 and still build my own pc's for gaming.  My Destiny clan is mostly 40+.  I've not seen any reason for there to be an upper age limit.

25 and life hit me like a double decker bus.

8+ hours/day = work.

1.5-2 h/d = commute

5-7 h/d = sleep

rest is split between gaming, chores and projects.

I also built my first real gaming PC about two weeks ago.

I'm 17 and 5 months away from being 18, and I don't see myself ever really stopping playing games. Though I've noticed last year between work and school I really didn't have time to do much of anything.

I'm 29 fixing to turn 30 next week (that stung a bit lol) and I just built a Retropie build. Gaming interest does slow down for many, but that doesn't mean you give it up entirely.

Used to do all nighters gaming ages ago, but not so much now.

Depends on the kind of person you are and the direction your life takes you.

I'm in my early twenties now and have no plans nor feelings to give up gaming and "grow up" as my grandparents would so wonderfully refer to it. Some people never grow out of what they enjoy, some people do grow out of it very quickly and move on to other passions; there's nothing wrong with that, its just the way humans are. only time will tell what kind of person you'll be, just don't let anyone else choose for you. You should make your own choices and live with the results, good or bad; its all just part of that being human thing we all do :3

I'm... older than almost all others stated on this thread. It varies but I probably spend on average a couple hours a day gaming. I don't think age matters as much as what do you want to do, and can do in your life situation. Different people have different priorities for interests or other activities. If you want to do it, and can do it without neglecting other essential areas, why not? If you find something else more interesting, do that.

27 soon to be 28 later this year.  No longer do any daily gaming (have a whole lot of other hobbies now).  If I do game, it at most three or four hours top in a day, exception is if I get a good game that is hard to put down.

Probably other factor for me is the fact I am balancing a military Guard job and college classes (slight break on those until next year).  In mean time studying for my Ham Radio license and will begin doing my 2nd go through on CCNA book for that cert as well (also have to study for ALS for my next rank).  Definitely no gaming at the moment with being deployed on long hour shifts.

Everyone is different.  Plus, you never know what you being doing later in life or where you be later in life.

I'm 21, I still play games. Don't worry about the "stigma", generally nobody gives a damn what you do with your free time. What might become a problem is constantly bringing it up and being unable to talk at length about other things - but that goes with most hobbies, in other words, just be mature about it and don't let it take over your life.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

I'm 22 and I game much less as I work 46-52 hours a week and have an (absolutely wonderful) girlfriend now who I spend a lot of my free time with. I still fit in about 8-12 hours of gaming every week, sometimes more if my friends or girlfriend are all busy on the weekend. I've gotta say, I'm much happier now than when I was gaming ~80 hours a week. I've found that the games I play changed a lot, I used to play a lot of MMOs, shooters, and MOBAs. Now I'm playing mostly RPGs of all kinds, Overwatch, and some 2 / 2.5D dungeon crawlers. It'll always be my hobby, but I suspect I will continue to gradually become more of a casual :P
