Hello, will the g503 hero still perform well in games in 2024?
Or is there a better mouse for a similar price (if there is a better one, please, it's not very difficult to find). Thank you

edit

: I don't have much budget on peripherals, I'm spending almost everything I have on the PC

Just like any other HERO sensored mouse, it works just fine in video games.

Ryzen 7 7800x3D -  Asus RTX4090 TUF OC- Asrock X670E Taichi - 32GB DDR5-6000CL30 - SuperFlower 1000W - Fractal Torrent - Assassin IV - 42" LG C2 - Windows 11 Pro

There are better mice out there, though that doesn't mean the G502 is a bad mouse and there are folks like me who swear by it. The main issue with it is that it's very heavy by modern gaming mouse standards, and most people nowadays are trending towards lighter and lighter mice, and you can get some pretty light mice nowadays. The first example to come to mind is the Logitech G305 Lightspeed (G304 in some regions), especially with a AAA conversion, as it's a very light combo that's wireless with a good sensor and very cheap, though there's a dozen other options that work as well.

As with any peripheral, a lot of it is personal preference. Just because one person online loves a heavy mouse doesn't mean you will, and just because the majority of people nowadays like superlight mice doesn't mean you will either. My advice is usually to head to somewhere like a Best Buy or Micro Center where they have a few of these mice on display, so you can try a few out and see what you find comfortable. Most mice over ~$40 have a perfect sensor on them, so you mostly need to worry about how comfortable the mouse is.

I think that in my country there is no such thing as trying a mouse (well, I really don't know if there is). I was looking at the g305 and I like that one better than the g503 in appearance.
If I can't find a way to test the mice, what could I do?
