AMD shows off new Radeon RX Vega logo in their roadshow

YongKang

It's nothing really major but AMD showed off their new logo for Vega. It looks kinda neat. Just 1 week away from SIGGRAPH and Vega launch, guys and gals! :D

RTG has shown off their new Radeon RX Vega artwork, which is looking incredibly awesome. It features a mean take on the already great looking 'V' logo, but throws in some crystal-like features and much darker reds and blacks blending through each other.   There are plenty of stars also used in the new Vega logo, continuing the space theme from Polaris and Vega marketing.

What do you think of the new stylized logo? Do you like the old one better? Let me know in the comment below!

Interesting at the very least! xD

To me personally it looks a bit like two rather crooked red diamonds next to each other.

If the diamonds were maybe less glossy then it would be pretty kewl

Well at least they compete in the high end of fashion,  that's for sure :)

pricing is everything, they can make it competitive it will be worth it, if vega can be better than a gtx 1080 while costing less, it will be worth the wait, remember how the cheapest rx480 was 150$ after rebate, some even went low as 139$ after rebate, which was really impressive price to performance, considering how the rx480 was better than a gtx 1060.

Yeah about increasing that Radeon driver team, we can't really divert funds from the PR team at this time because well, you see, they're doing vital work to establish the DNA of our corporate image...

Its a cool logo, and I'm excited for it to finally hit... but the power specs we've seen before are killer. That may not matter to many people (indeed, nowadays, with our massive PSUs and power-sipping components, I'm sure it won't be a problem), but NVidia could also turn up their clocks for an easy win this gen...

6 months ago that would have been awesome but now it's meh.

well at least it will allow them to sell a decent number (hopefully) of RX Vega units before Volta launches...
