Athlon XP 1700+

GeForce 2

Was my first custom build.

First computer I have no idea but it had a 5.25" floppy drive and dos. Right after that we bought a $3k Gateway pentium 3 lol

The first CPU I paid my own money for was a 2.8GHz Celeron (as a part of a full build), the first CPU I bought as a part of my first build was E2160. The first CPU I owned was just like @Sprawlie's, a C64 CPU (if that counts). I had several PCs as a kid without a clue what CPU I had (back then I got PCs for free from/via my older brother).

That Celeron came with a Radeon 9200 IIRC, my first touch with hardware happened when it broke down and I had to get a replacement, which was a Radeon 9250. I do know that whatever I had before that 9250 supported newer DirectX version, which turned out to be a great lesson in tech. The first GPU I bought with planning was a 7600GS (9250 just happened to be the best card I could afford in a pinch). I got 8500GT with that E2160.

I of course had whatever GPUs with all those PCs that came after C64, but the only card I know I had at some point was a GeForce 4.

Bonus fact: I have rescued a 9250 and a GeForce 4. I try to grab pieces of nostalgia whenever I can find them for a reasonable price and have means of using, which is why I don't have a E2160 around despite of its low price (finding the right motherboard is much harder).

My first laptop had some Atom chip with HD Graphics.

My family's computer that I used more than anyone else had a Pentium 3 (we upgraded to a Pentium 4 machine later)

My first custom build had a Pentium E5400 and an R7 240.

I'm really not proud of that 240 but it played the games I wanted to at the time at 1280x1024.
