The man has turned from a fool into something dangerous. Seriously say out loud the words "President Trump" listen to how scary that is.

 

Now I'm from the UK but still understand the fact that a lot of people miss and that's we're all on the same fucking planet.

 

The man actually thinks that a wall is a good thing, he's against same sex marriage completely reversing his opinion altogether. What is scary about that though is that people support him. 

 

OK, I get it everyone is entitled to an opinion and god damn it you have the right to voice it, but when it impacts so negatively on others and actually changes their lives for the worse that's when it needs to stop.

 

Imagine if Donald Trump actually had more than 2 brain cells, there'd be a president so rich that he'd be incorruptible. Imagine what could happen with the environment since he isn't in the pockets of oil corporations. Imagine what the health system would turn into without the pressure of massive pharmaceutical organisations.

 

Unfortunately this isn't a fantasy and if he comes into power I'm genuinely afraid what happens next.

I feel that I should point out that Canada made the US tighten security since they don't want what has happened with immigration to the US to happen in Canada. (bring on le walls)

 

In regards to the man from the UK, you realize your government wants/wanted to officially ban him from their sessions and presence right? If i'm not mistaken that doesn't foster friendship between nations very well. 

 

One thing of my own that I'd like to mention is his idea to actually hold China accountable. For what is the common question, well for example shipping of manufacturing goods to the United states from China are HEAVILY subsidized by the US government. How about the #1 manufacturing place in the world not have a huge break from the #2 manufacturing country in the world(yes the US is #2 in manufacturing for those of you who didn't know) or at least could that be reciprocated?  because honestly I can't compete with Chinese sellers online for one reason only which is Shipping.

Walls will never stop illegal immigrants, they are only costly things that are there to only give the idea of protection. If you want to fix the immigration problem then go after the real issues not fake, sensationalizing things that will never solve the problem. If you really want to know the truth about illegal immigrants please look up the nature of migrant workers in many of the industries in the US. Also what "good ideas" has Trump had? The issue is that I'm trying to point at is that the ludicrous ideas of his. His wall will never work, drugs will always find a way to be smuggled in to any country by any means, and a wall will never stop it. But his idea of "making america great again" is terrible, everything he has done to explain his vision of it is horrific. He's personally attacked people because of their disabilities, race, and religion. He's also sought violence at people at his rallies saying things such as "back in the good ole days" we would teach them a lesson. I'm attacking his ideology of violence and bigotry and not anyone else. The OP shows his hypocritical bigotry attitude towards people that aren't the same as him. That's the ideas I'm afraid of.

We're not going to get offended here. This forum is surprisingly civil considering the stuff you can find over at 4chan or gamefaqs or whatever. We're here to discuss in a way that doesn't involve our personal emotion, and perhaps help ourselves make a better informed decision, be it for tech or politics.

 

At least that's what I'm here for. :P

 

As for the US elections, I don't have much to say. I've a feeling if a certain orange-faced candidate makes president I'll have to pay a significant premium for tech imports in the future. Oh, and this.

But we just had elections over here and you guys have it good. Holy shit.

I don't think I have seen a Trump thread for weeks.  I even thought about making one for a spell.

 

The reason the joke candidacy of Donald Trump still has a chance is:  We the people, as a whole on earth, are retarded/dumb.  There are those that are relatively dumber than the norm.  They are usually on the Trump side.  Trump is on the border.  He really is dumb folks.  All talk, no spine.

 

I can see calling out Clinton for her less than ethical practices, but when you start calling Sanders an idiot... man that bothers/scares me.

 

40 year career as an activist fighting for what he believes in.  Mostly good things.  Some of you will start in on his plan to provide free stuff.  To you geniuses:  How do you feel about the USA spending 1.7 Trillion dollars to fight in Iraq?  Are you safer yet?
