LTT village-How can you imagine it?

Djole123

So, if this whole forum was in a village made by Linus, how can you imagine it looking like?

Me: Orange-black houses. LED striped roads. Linus as a mayor.

Not bad IMO.

i think it would look more more like a city in a civil war, between the mature(or atleast not complete assholes) and intelligent members vs the rest

Just like this place, one with more kicking and blood.

(Edit; and by kicking I mean literal kicking, with your foot, for example)

It would be a total disaster.

Trust me.

I am fucking lazy, that's why I started doing stuff with PC's, now I am "relatively skilled" with PC's and make money with them, but I'm still lazy.

I am very sure that atleast 60% of the forum is like me: A lazy shit.

Just think about it.... an entire town full of lazy shits, and that town would have an energy bill as large as half a continent :P

Or how about a China town owned by Dennis (and selling fake WAN hoodies)?

A law would be the whole CoC

Each quart of the village is a thread- there is a CPU quart- streets are AMD FX, AMD A10, Core i5, Core i7 etc

A GPU quart- Radeon, FirePro, Quadro etc.

And so on.

ehhhh some of the more tech savy/intelligent members sometimes post some douche-ish replies on other member's post.

if anything it would be a civil war based off brand loyalty (nvidia v. amd, amd v. intel, console v. pc, batman v, superman, etc.)

I imagine a mix between Tokyo/Seoul's city style and northern Europe's fanciness. Plus maple syrup...LOTS of maple syrup....

Those of a power socio-economic class would live on amd streets including bulldozer Avenue and piledriver Lane, while the more wealthy members would live on Skylake drive, Haswell street, and Maxwell road.

If so, I would be living in Cedarview street, with, well, no neighbours.

Recently sold my condo on maxwell road next to the ivy bridge (see what I did there :v) and went for one on kepler road. Still next to the ivy bridge. This is all because I can pay a little bit less and get some spare money to buy myself a nice penthouse the corner of pascal street and broadwell-e lane.

Yeah, that one house is mine.

I saw that new Zen avenue, should be there soon, they said it will be huge, and it is right next to Bulldozer street, after the number 9590 on the FX side.

I'm pretty sad that the Xeon, FX, Athlon X4 and Athlon X2 don't have integrated backyards, but they usually dig one themselves.

KeK

I would live on the corner of Haswell and Hawaii wy.

Also, I think it would be scary. Violent fist-fights breaking out every hour with people fighting for Intel and AMD, or people on the graphic card sides. The public would end up building a wall in the middle of the country, dividing the country into the AMDs, the Intelites and the nVidians, the wall being named "The Berlin Linus Wall of Peace." Anybody caught crossing the wall without special permission (IE: buying an i7 and showing proof) would be immediately detained and given 5 Warning Points. At 15 Warning Points, you're sent to Linus Hell, where Linus treats you like a slave for a week. During that time, Linus gets to treat you however he pleases, no holds barred.

I used to be quite active here.

You would have at least two parts of the city, one with Nvidya fanboys and the other with ayymd fanboys. of course you need some Intel vs. ayymd too and everything inbetween that.

You also would have a whole bunch of salty bastards calling each other names because they got one small thing wrong or because they don't agree with each other.
