So i have a wii, smartphone, and pc. when i do something wrong you would expect them to confiscate one of those as punishment but instead they take away my headphones and leave me with everything else. i dont understand their logic

Why would they take away anything? I don't know if my parents where just lenient, but they never took my stuff when I misbehaved.

But ask them, why they take away your headphones.

Well, maybe they want to punish you, by taking something away that doesn't make you too mad, but is more of an irritation so you'll maybe learn to behave better next time because of it?

Confiscated my headphones as well due to exams, but left everything else for me

Are they Asian by any chance?

You are getting punished for getting a B on a chem quiz?  That is wrong in my opinion.  You ask your kid to work hard and study but you can't punish them if they tried hard enough and got a B on a chem quiz.  In fact even if they did not study properly you should not be dishing out punishments for that.  You should only encourage them to work harder and show them how to do it.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S
