Yeah, usually there are ads between posts, but they sometimes end up in a post or in a signature xD Refreshing the page seems to fix it for me...

Verizon just tried to sell my mother "Fiber optic cell phone plan" and she almost fell for it.

every time someone asks for help, I ask if they have turned it off and on again. They say yes. Then I will turn it off and on again and it is fixed.

I once RMA'd a 1070 because the one of the 8-pin connectors wasn't in the power supply :/ Luckily EVGA was quiet about it and I learned my lesson by experience.

A friend of mine with no clue how to build a PC was building with me over skype, and I was instructing her. For about 20 minutes, she couldn't get the GPU into its slot, and it turned out it was because she left the little rubber cover on the GPU's connector and was trying to put it into the x16 slot like that..

qυoтe мe pleaѕe!

Me at the Apple store: "So how fast is this little macbook?"

Apple employee: "Cheetah Fast. Lightning Fast. It's Really, really, fast."

I once saw this Debate on 'Advantages & Disadvantages of Cloud'

Debate started normally with a gentleman explaining how cloud storage helps save space and allows users to upload and store their media on the cloud.

There was a grumpy old man in them who instantly interrupted "BUT WHAT IF IT SUDDENLY STARTS RAINING !!! ALL OF YOUR IMPORTANT FILES WILL BE GONE !!!"      "_____"

They took a short commercial break after he said that xD

It was on my local TV show,my mum likes to watch shows like that and then blame my PC as the most vicious thing on the planet that is responsible for every bad thing that happens to me ?

"Yeah. Apple uses the money-to-power ratio in the CPU of the chip so it can then access the GPU with RAM, so it therefore connects to the cloud sevices of Apple and it starts raining so it gets information!" -Nonsense Book of Computers 2017, author: fidget spinners

One time a guy brought his computer to clean it from viruses, but he also brought his power and VGA (at that time) cables and asked whether I can clean the viruses from them as well, because he is afraid that if he plugs those cables back into the computer, some viruses left on the cables will infect it again :D

So on Friday I holded a presentation about computer science in my class, so I talked manly about AI, Deep learning, VMs and VR. So at the end of the two hour long presentation I asked around and when I asked what was a VM in a basic term again, this girl responded and said that a VM is a Programming App, I mean like did you even listen to me? Because I explainded everthing in a so simple way, even the dumbest people could understand.

You can take a look at all of the Tech that I own and have owned over the years in my About Me section and on my Profile.

I'm Swiss and my Mother language is Swiss German of course, I speak the Aargauer dialect. If you want to watch a great video about Swiss German which explains the language and outlines the Basics, then click here.

If I could just play Videogames and consume Cool Content all day long for the rest of my life, then that would be sick.

If you think you know what dumb is take that number and put it in a square root then you start to approach it. But to be fair most people just don't care

thats just you not haveing the knowlage.. all Intel portable chips are either PGA or BGA and always have been, its a cheaper pacage to use and there is probably some other reason as well. anyway that should also mean that you could stick a beefier chip in there when you need it because why not :D

Yea I realised that as well just need to find out what socks it is exactly so I can start looking for a upgrade. Preferably something with a lower wattage even after the thermal compound change it runs a little hot for what I ask from it imo.
