So asked which way the HP logo is facing..said away from him, told him to turn it towards him and should have heard him, blew his mind :P:P

people in my school were using a can of compressed air without the needle thing to clean a keyboard and using it while it was facing toward the ceiling and said it didnt clean it

He mustve been smoking the weed, no big deal, must all try it in grade school.

 

I let shit slide like that too, but I comment on how stupid they are. Like today, the train stopped at a red light where no platform is and a couple were hitting the button thinking it was the platform. Then they'd try the other side's door. I commented on how stupid they were, and laughed at them. I mentioned too that they should hit the button harder and more times.

well you DID just break the heatpip and there by ruening the re-sell value of it if nothing else...

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

I've done it before and it didn't break 

 

the resell value is $0. LCD is sorta fucked, no ram came with it, no HDD came with it, it was a first gen lowest end pentium. The keyboard doesn't work sometimes

lots of them do... like all of them before 3rd gen intel IIRC. im pretty sure there are quite a few Ivy bridge laptops with PGA sockets as well.

Still though, Mac Pro is overpriced. I do think they lowered the price recently, though.

6 core xeon and 16 gb of ecc memory would result in 1600€ approximately. thats still less than half the price

no. because laptops have got some serious formfactor limitations, there is no room for a big retention mechanism. instead they are using pga with a flat tip screwdriver as your retention mechanism
