My sentiments exactly. People here have a hard enough time not crashing in big, straight lines, let alone trying to stay in their own lanes on highways like 49 or 17.

A semi truck almost killed me once. Used their turn signals while they were switching lanes and not before. Didn't bother to check blind spot.

Without adding about 20 mirrors, semi trucks will have large blind spots that cannot be checked. It really is the responsibility of smaller cars around them to not get in an accident.

Obviously. But the driver was dumb enough not to use signals correctly. That's on their part.

True, though in the example, the truck driver is at fault for not using the turn indicators to signal intent before changjng lanes. I do agree that even if law doesn't specify, it isn't particularly good for one's health to stick near a semi truck's blind points for too long.

It's entirely possible that there is something wrong with the electrical system that's causing a delay with the lights. Both my Dakota and my dad's Ram 2500 do that with old bulbs that have a shit ton of hours on them.

I wasn't in his blind spot for too long because I was in the clear to pass him, but the way the semi was driving set me on edge. So I alerted my driver to slam her brakes in time before the semi moved to our lane with late warning.

Just finished watching the 4th season of Please Like Me. I cried. It was a very good ending. It's a shame that that was the final season.
