Hello everyone Archangel here,

 

Here to announce my departure from this forum. Here's why:

 

- CoC is not being upheld properly, not by any mod I see aside from a few extreme cases

- Too many people are douchebags, there is disrespect everywhere and literally people just almost humilliate other forum members

- You can barely say a single thing without someone implying "OMG YOU IDIOT YOU ARE DEAD WRONG X FANBOY"

- You cannot have a healthy discussion about anything AMD/Intel/Nvidia without a cir

 

This has been bothering me for a while and now I'm totally done. The only are only a few truly respectable people on this forum. While I do

have some issues personally that "forced" me (So to speak) in a minor depression and the forum more easily creates stress in me whenever more

shitposting/insulting/belittling/etc. happens it's also about a lot of the forum members being total jerks, having no principles/a code that

they uphold.

 

I don't really see the mods doing anything either aside from locking repost threads or removing the spambots. I see just about no attention

given to BLATANT disregard of the CORE values of the CoC aside from the extreme situations of "Go jump under a train and do us a favor".

 

TL;DR I'm done with how too many people act around here.

 

By the time you read this I will have already filed a request for an account ban so if you want to contact me for anything (Be it simple

chatting for fun or needing help with something) I would like to point you to @zappian as she will relay the information for me (At least

temporarily)

 

Goodbye LTT, I hope you improve to actually meet the primary goal of the forum: Create a friendly environment to talk and ask about tech.

P.S. I know there will be some that will tell me to grow a thicker skin, this is not about that. This is about principle and common decency

which is clearly lacking

Don't slam your finger in the door on the way out.

 

Most of the moderation takes place between the mods and the person it involves. It isn't a public affair.

That is why you don't see most of the work the mod team does.

Exactly what we need, one of the forums most experienced members slamming the door...

 

 

Also mods are shutting these kinds of threads down.

 

Why leave? just put up with it you are only letting them win by going.

the mods do work, just not immediately, if you see something bad pm a mod or report it and just wait for it to go.
