Just order pants with bigger pockets, strain relief, reinforced lining and an 1/8" steel plate to stop it bending and your set to go,  or just don't be fucked in the head and try to bend it.

I haven't owned an apple product since the 3GS and to completely honest, the 3GS was the only apple product I owned (at it was used for 2 years before I got it). This whole "bendgate" is ridiculous.  It's so stupid. 

 

I am going to say what everybody else said.  Why do this to expensive electronics? Purposely no less.

Cool, you can bend a device, WITH FORCE... It doesn't bend. "iPad Air 2 Bend" because you made it bend lol... All these bends is not natural causes...

My lenovo A2107 that I bought for $99 does not bend.  I just tried it.  Now my thumbs are sore.  :(

I really don't see this as a problem. Phones are different since they can be under unexpected pressure when in your pocket. But a tablet? I just don't see pressure being applied that way unless it's intentional.

I really don't see this as a problem. Phones are different since they can be under unexpected pressure when in your pocket. But a tablet? I just don't see pressure being applied that way unless it's intentional.

only if your a fan of apple, if your like me then every product bent is another unit not on the market :P

 

That being said, it does look like more force than one would likely encounter, but it also looks like less force than I have to put on my ice tray in order to get the ice out of it.

I'm pretty sure all tablets will bend if you try hard enough. It's a wide and thin device, the laws of physics are against it.

As much I want to say yes, my Surface Pro 2 disagrees.

We really don't need anymore bend tests. Everybody already knows they bend, as will any thin, poorly constructed, aluminum device. (Seriously, Apple needs to take some design cues from HTC and Motorola) And of course it will bend if you are intentionally trying to bend it, duh.
