Wish I could find one of the 15mm thick 92mm fans that's PWM to replace mine. Mine has a faint motor tick to it sometimes. Ruins the whole "super quiet PC" thing.

I'd say it's worth it.  I found one for 16 bucks. There damn quiet too (I put 2 in a friend's Node 304).

Still damned expensive, especially when you consider the case I plan on getting costs $53, and that the fan only does it occasionally.

They are Noctua's though!

I just paid $28 for 2 140 Noctua's as they're meant to be the shiznitt! Those 14mm ones are like £14 here. So you're getting a well cheaper deal!

Also,

Try looking for Yate Loon D90SH-12B They are 15mm thick 92mm fans and Yate Loon aren't exactly crap - https://www.google.com/search?q=ate+Loon+D90SH-12B&oq=ate+Loon+D90SH-12B&sourceid=chrome&es_sm=93&ie=UTF-8&gws_rd=ssl#q=yate+Loon+D90SH-12B+15mm&tbm=shop

preparations have begun!

NES is fully primed and inside is painted fully in textured white. If every thing goes good should be shooting some color on this on sunday and clear coat a few days to a week after!

edit-ohh yeah this is the first time I showed this new vent.

talked about it a little here. I know those numbers are probably 20-50w higher now with my overclocks dialed in.

after the build is complete I will be still updating the thread with numbers and software that I am using in this thing. going to be using a custom frontend that I am slowly working on. this is what the nes will boot up in,not the windows shell.

anyone that want to check out the frontend you can check it out here- http://www.launchbox-app.com/

I have painted the nes gloss white this last weekend and still letting dry another day or 2 or until this weekend to shoot the clear coat . after that is done all that will be left is to wet sand and buff to a show room shine :)

also I am so happy the I made the last minute decision to go gloss white with this build. It looks so good all ready, I cant wait to see how it looks after clear coat and buffing!

going to try and get you guys a spoiler pic in the next couple days.
