NES build 1985-2015 30TH anniversary " NES 3.0"(completed final pics!)

ungreedy

That's what I figured ok I just wanted to be sure that I could cut the excess cable without causing a problem to the build. I'm in the middle of a very similar build to this one. Thanks!

yes I did.

I removed half of the CPU cable for the CPU power since my mobo only required a 4 pin and also shortened the power input cables.

Less wires to deal with the better:)

How did yougo about shortening the cables. A simple cut and solder i assume?

only felt like the right thing to do for the first power up was to play some mario in 1080p! Edit-@60fps!

May I ask where do you get your Wii roms from?

What if you could cram a 960 or something better in there? Make a second PC in another NES box or a Xbone with power far better than that of the consoles.

Already been done with a 960 in an Xbone.

I am afraid this information is forbidden by the forum rules. Try Googling for some pirate bay sites, Google will help for sure.

Hello, I have a project to make a mini PC in a NES like you ungreedy but a problem disrupts me for my configuration.
I saw that you have to use a 250W HDPlex but how do you power it?
In view of the hardware I intend to take, my power requirements are somewhat higher (type i5 version T see K, 16go DDR4 and GTX 1060 itx).
If you have advice to give me I am taker ^^
