It looks like their GPU's will have their Gaming lineup branding on it. I'm interested to see how it will look and perform when the 8/900 series releases.

Don't most higher end msi cards have backplates?

 

edit: it seems that only the trifrozr r9 290/x get backplates

I think MSI should add a backplate anyway. It would make the card look so much more classy.

My 760 hawk from msi has a backplate, a nice matte black one too

The Lightning has a backplate.

 

I do really like the look of that card though, it looks slimmer than usual.  I do agree, the chrome look for the heat pipes has got to go.  Chrome is better than copper/bronze look, but a black anodized finish would be preferred.

Nvidia is to Dr Dre Beets as AMD is to KFC.

One makes you broke, the other you can get more of and have a midnight snack from the fridge when hungry again. Once you go Nvidia, you go broked, turn into an Elitist, or get the incorrect amount of VRAM.
