If someone designed a closed-loop glycol-chiller for PC that was proven to be able to drop temps by more than 50C, I'd probably already have one.  Instead, every cooling system for PC really just uses water (90% or more) and a heat/air exchanger with some fans.

I have even seen glycol-chillers used for ice-skating road-shows, where the ice rink is set up temporarily.  Makes a good substitute for the ammonia / brinewater used by hockey rinks in poured-concrete rinks.

I've decided 100% for sure I want an A770. They dropped way too early in the morning for me to be around, but still got some stuff in preparation. The 6800xt and an A770 will be asking a whole lot of my Lian Li case, and I don't have any more spots to plug in PCIE power on my 600W power supply, so I've given in. I have options here, the new 1000W could go in my daily computer, or it could go in my folding machine and trade out for an 850W. I'm undecided what way I want to go with it though. I know I won't need 1000W in this computer, but there are thoughts of water cooling it later on anyways.

I would definitely try one out if I didn't just move my build into the new Lancool III. A very similar case to the one you just bought

That was a very close second, but for some reason the 5.25 bays is what had me go for the Fractal. I don't know what I'll do with them, but I'll find something.

Why am I like this.

Take my wallet away from me.

Secondhand Herman Miller Embody for a flat $900. Haggled it down from $995.
No taxes, no shipping fees from the seller.
Just had to bribe my friendo and her mom with lunch to use their car. 748522851337764904.gif?size=20

Look, listen, a’ight, new Herman Miller Embodys retail for ≈$1,700 now – and that’s not even factoring in taxes.

Now I can dump that old WorkSmart SMH2036-EC3 chair that was a (free) hand-me-down from the previous roommate / housemate.

8GB DDR4 2400 CL17 to fill out my laptop to 16GB dual channel. I could have gotten a kit of 16GB DDR4 2400 CL14 but it's $45+ for that vs $16 shipped for the single stick of slow stuff. It's a laptop, just having dual channel will make a difference even if it's slow.
