Fucking car bills, man.

This was to replace intake hoses and to fix a coolant leak, which apparently originated from something related to the heater core.

Oh well, least my Saturn's back on the road.

Pretty common for labour to out pace the price for parts on auto repair. I dont know what the shop rate is where he lives but around here its 160 ish an hour at a dealer, so really thats only 2 hours in labour roughly

I'd never heard of that book, I saw the price of it on Amazon and just decided I no longer want a PolSci degree.

It's this one.  Apparently one of the better options according to a review site mentioned in these hallowed pages.  Which is surprising, given the price.  I guess decent HDR support is the price driver nowadays (this only has HDR10)

 

EDIT: Forgot to mention, it is flat and replaced a curved monitor.  This one now looks like it's bowing out in the middle because I've been looking at a curved monitor so long.  It's been a day now and the optical illusion still hasn't worn off.
