Making my own case to accommodate 6x 480mm XE rads and 2x 240mm XE rads

Yeah 5000 score almost there. If I can reduce latency to like 12 or 13CL I should easily make it. I might need to up the voltage for the RAM.

Sad that it has nothing to do with the waterloop. Perhaps you should consider putting the 7980XE back in?

Fixed. Just needed 1.19V BIOS. Now the performance is up there haha

It was swapped around. But I'll try to rotate them to this position to see differences.

I think the whole would have looked much better if the rads were actually inside the enclosure and the board was on top of the table, more practical to keep the hardware accessible. 
 

now it’s really big with a whole lot of dead space on the inside. Poor space usage. Cables would be better hidden on the inside too.

I wouldn't be able to keep it all inside. I didn't want to make a hotbox. Cools really well regardless. Fairly easy to move too. Actually there is less space inside than you think to be fair. Just need to tune my RAM now and just waiting for RTX 3090.

29 * 3.1W = about 90W. If you include mobo fans etc it will be 100W.

No, I am pretty sure there is more space than I think is there. There is no way that you can look at this and go "there isn't much dead space". There's more space than there is stuff. You case has a total volume of 180 L including the radiators, although I guess you aren't competing for PPL (performance per liter) so you probably don't care.

Well, with that many radiators, you'd have to do something seriously wrong for it not to cool well.

 

I don't really know what I'm trying to get to here, but I guess what I'm trying to say is that you've strangely bound yourself to the concept of a case (i.e. components on the inside, radiators on the outside). But this thing is far from a case with no real concept of sealing or aesthetics. Space usage is rather poor, components are presumably difficult to access without some degree of bending over/unmounting of radiators, and it doesn't look particularly nice from the outside (in my opinion).

 

But all in all, it's not my build, so if TheKrystian is happy with it, then I guess that's the only thing that matters.

FYI, if rads were inside I could not connect a single pipe anywhere but I don't think you included that in your calculations. But if I were to design it so all goes inside, the volume would've stayed the same or similar, but it doesn't bother me as it's easy to move anyway.

 

Actually everything is easy to access, I built it that way. Not sure if you know but plates are removable. I had to install PCIe SSD and GPU somehow right? Pipes are soft tubing.

 

I like how it looks and space usage is rather good considering radiators are long and there is many of them. 

 

But most importantly it cools amazing and that was the goal.

i mean you could add the fans in the inside and all the cables with it but i do agree its "YOUR BUILD" would be cool to tests and take away rads to see if there any difference.

FYI, Of course I did, and yes there are so many ways to connect radiators together, especially if they are the same radiator like in your case. Parallel flow would be a really easy way to clean up the connections between the three radiators (on each side)

No holes for the fans on the other side it's very hard to align. I also don't want to leave the fins exposed on the outside and I don't want to add any mesh. It works perfectly tbh I like having things expiated because I always replace or work on something.

Well, I tried to put them on the inside and radiators are so thick that hole goes on front of another so there is 0 way to put them inside. I planned them to go on the outside anyway I prefer it that way. Easy access to everything.

I can't attach it from other side because the plate has only X amount of holes and I can't sandwich fans. Plus even if I do if block the entry for pipes in the radiators.

oh you mean in the steel there not all 16 holes i get it now.
