  1. Posted here previously but my 3090 was GIMPED (FTW3 you all probably heard stories) Replaced Bykski block with EKWB one and it's a Suprim X now with 1000W BIOS eating max 560W (max possible via the 8 pin PSU cables).
  2. Never mind, issue not fixed. I flashed 1000W BIOS and it only uses 45% of it, as if its power limiting itself when it shouldn't. Very strange. So this wouldn't be the power saving as it wouldn't be saving 350W because it's 40c cooler. I also think that BIOS switch isn't working at all. Because I switch when PC is off, turn it on and it still has 1000W BIOS on. I'll flash both BIOSes few times to see if that solves it (even though when I switch it still says it has the 1000W bios on), otherwise out of options and I would have to try the GPU in another PC I guess / differ
  3. Core clock stays the same yes, but performance went up according to benchmarks. Also, it's on purpose. KP 520W BIOS flashed
  4. Yeah my card doesn't use 519W it used to in Heaven 4 it uses max 480W with average 460W or so now after being cooled down 40C down so it must make sense.
  5. I ended up switching GPUs and used 520W KP BIOS. I have similar scores to you now with Suprim X. 4580. I'll stick 1000W BIOS on it and see if performance goes up to match 4690 of yours. It's pretty close now though.
  6. Hello, I need some help understanding this: I have 3090 Suprim X on air. About 70C max and uses 520W on KP BIOS in Heaven 4. All good, and as it should be. Then I got a new EK block, great. Installed it and ran the same benchmark, only uses max 460W or so, but clocks are the same. 2160Mhz Vs 2160Mhz. GPU temperature was about 32C Vs 70C on air cooling. If I use Furmark it uses the entire limit of 520W and even peaks at 530W. Superposition uses max of 509W at 4K optimised. However, mostly sits at either 480W or 500W.
  7. I'm running 10980XE at 5.2Ghz at 75C and 520W OCed 3090 at 32C so I'd say yeah.
  8. I had Thermaltake Core X9 which held 3x 480mm and 1x 240mm with 2x D5 pumps. Then I made another case custom cut steel and that held 6x 480mm and 2x 240mm with 2x D5 pumps also but it was too hard to stick components in and what not so... I made my final case out of aluminium square pipes and L shaped rails with thick plastic joints to accommodate 8x 480mm XE rads and 1x 240mm rad and 4x D5 pumps but it was all open air bench and didn't look too good, so I grabbed used 011 Air from Lian Li and drilled holes for pipes and cables for fans along with 4x Splitty Actives and
  9. All 3000RPM ones. Not a single 2000 in sight. Not very hot. 3090 doesn't go above 30c with ok ambient temps. Unless I OC then it goes to 35-37C but fans barely spin.
  10. I did.. XC3 BIOS. I can flash back and try to get that BAR one.
  11. Hello. I reinstalled my Windows to 20H2 and did all updates. I OCed as per usual and I'm having crashes and driver failures after 3 min of being in the game. Latest GPU driver etc. Worked before on an older Windows not sure if it's Windows related however. I get black screen all of the time that's unrecoverable. I can hear music in the background from the game and then bam, music corrupts and then it restarts. I think stock is more stable but would eventually crash. Any idea what this could be?
  12. Just slightly. GPU sits at 28C and CPU 75C in intensive benchmarks at 5.2Ghz.
  13. Finished my build finally. 8x 480mm XE rads and 2x 240mm XE rads (in the case). Rest of specs in Sig
