Saving an editable PDF in firefox so when I open it I can still edit the fields I need to fill out?

I usually print as PDF when it comes to dealing with PDFs, did that once and of course it no longer lets me edit them. 

Will hitting this button allow me to edit these later on even if I close the browser/restart my PC now? 

Sorry if this is a dumb question I don't mess with PDF much.

It should. Most of the programs I use refer to this as downloading the PDF. Doesn't hurt to try it!

I actually already did try it and it seems to work I am more just wanting assurance that its not going to clear the document if I reboot or something like that cause this form is massive and I don't wanna fill it out a 3rd time.
