Well the only reason it has only one thread is the other is feeding a RTX 2070 Super in it's PCIe2 x16 slot and it's still getting 1-6-1.9MPPD

 

This is a Acer iTX motherboard from the kid's gaming systems when all they played was flash games on Facebook. It originally came with Windows 7 Home 32-bit which I was a little annoyed with at the time as I was still running XP.

 

It is still perfectly viable for running X-Windows and F@H on and I pull it out when I need to test something, or in this case, re-purpose a x370-gaming-K7 for the 2 new 5700XTs arriving on Monday.

By the way a reaction from an F@h core member on the statistics issue. Basically,  our inability to get WUS caused them to bring enough new work servers online to now have too few stats servers

We've discovered that there can be a significant a delay between the WU being uploaded and the data being added to the official database.

First, when a completed WU is uploaded, the data needed for the points DB is captured, including the upload time-date. Those credit records are then shipped to the stats server. If the communications channels between the server receiving the WU and the stats server are saturated / overloaded, the data can be delayed ... particularly if the WU was uploaded to a Collection Server where it has to first be transferred to the Work Server before it can be forwarded to the stats server.

With all of the folks interested in COVAID-19 research, we're upgrading FAH's collection of servers as rapidly as we can and the've gotten a little slow it being able to collect the actual statistics.

No GPU will automatically turn the OC down. It will either freeze or crash if it is unstable.
