I use something like Privacy.com to make a virtual credit card. You can keep making new numbers and you can also set limits. That way if you accidentally go over on the GCP free credit you'll be limited with how much they charge.

That's a really good idea. Thanks.

I've tried different names and such, but I think it's flagged the card number.

I can try that, but I think it's the card number google doesn't like. That is unfortunate, since I can only use the one card for this.

Yeah, that is for sure. Three of mine have already been flagged after using them more than 2 times for different accounts (so 6 accounts total).

1530 is indeed what it is running at. Seems like that is the max clocks of that card. I know when I setup my Titan V it would stay at a lower power level unless I specifically told it to run faster.

As long as they are working I am happy.

I think that 1530mhz clock speed explains some of the difference. I don't know if it's because the Titan's were designed more for other tasks, but my Titan V gets up to around 1800mhz (usually bounces around somewhere in the 1770-1870mhz area) depending on the temp and ambient air. Thanks for checking those clocks for me, saves me the effort of setting up another VM just for that.

care to get some good reisers if the pic is anything to speak of.

The vega I installed into my brother's pc yesterday stopped getting recognized mere 36 hours after the installation. Perhaps it was the reiser card, or the usb cable that it's connected via, or even the PSU but windows says that the device isn't connected.. But the card's fan spins. So I have no idea what the reason is and can't really troubleshoot - I'll lose more points by doing that right now, powering down my own 2-card system, and trying to figure out that one. I guess I'll just use a different psu and a different mobo tomorrow or something and try messing with it via a usb stick os or smth idk

but for now.. rip Vega 64, it might very well have been you that died.

The ADT-Link risers use imported German shielded high-bandwidth low-noise cabling and Taiwanese connectors so at least in specifications they look good and should be far better than most PCIe x1 mining risers.

It will likely take 4-8 weeks for the risers to arrive from China but from what reviews I’ve seen they appear solid.

Keep in mind there were 2 signup sheets.

1. The Official LTT signup

2. Community event

The LTT signup was handled in another thread and featured a Google Forms sheet where you had to fill in some user details, but also a picture of your folding rig and fill in your favorite Lenny face.

The community event signup (what the ranks posted above are for) was handled in this thread, with a Google Forms in the first post of this thread.

Have you entered both signups?

There has to be a better way to coordinate this for next years event.  It is a bit too convoluted.  Especially for new Folders that are already having to deal with setting up their clients.

@GOTSpectrum. @jakkuh_t  Any ideas how we can simplify the sign up for next year?  Collaborate on a single form at least?

We will be working on that, there are some technical challenges that mean we have to end sign ups before the begining of the event. LMG don't have the same limitations.

I mean I am a new folder this year, and it was fairly clear if you read the documentation, where to sign up, when and how.

I do agree for next year, perhaps have a main post for both community and LMG which links to each.

mans as @GOTSpectrum pointed out, community prizes are awarded differently, than the LMG ones. So have the same signup sheet/closing dates would be quite difficult
