What? When the ram came out, I think reviewers also got the display box, but now the masses can also get their hands on it too, if you have the scenario of having spare ram lying around you want to show off. I do wonder if there will be much of a market for this. If you bought their ram, I would hope it'll be sitting pretty in a system. Depending on the implementation, I wonder if it will power any manufacturer RGB ram? So maybe you could use it to show off others also, although the TridentZ Royal lettering on the inside box lid would mismatch. G.Skill don't make dummy modules do they? Some other manufacturers did to help fill up slots for the look, if wanted. Maybe that's the plan, also allow you to buy dummy modules for display purposes. So... really not sure on this. Might be useful for rich collectors? Or is it a product too far? I'm Swiss and my Mother language is Swiss German of course, I speak the Aargauer dialect.
