The video card leaks are included there. That said a seperate thread isn't a terrible idea IMO as Ryzen's the focus of the discussion there.

Tell me about it, I still can't get over the complete mess AMD did when naming their chipsets... like Ryzen 3 5 7 was perfectly fine it gave an idea where those CPUs lands against the Core i3 i5 i7 but the chipset names.... dear goodness... we still get time to time people mixing up the B350 and B360.

30x0 GPUs

Ok then. Someone actually got paid to come up with that.

I think that's a coincidence and the primary intention was to claim the 3000 series of video cards before nVidia would have. RTX 3000 and RX 3000 look very similar. See AMD chipset names vs Intel chipset names.

It's not in the main body, so unless it's hidden somewhere in the many pages of replies, it's kind of irrelevant.

Ugh. Yes. I still don't understand why they chose to do that. It really made me hate AMD for a good chunk of time.

With these prices and performance claims though, I might wait for Computex before buying a new video card. I was going to buy an RX 590, but if I can get significantly better performance for the same price...

I just hope they include The Division 2 with those as well ?

Which kinda makes me dose it with a heavy helping of salt...

I love how AMD just decided to give Intel and Nvidia a giant middle finger by using the obvious numbers that they would use in the future. Like b350 and x399, now we potentially have 3000 series cards from them. I find it quite funny

I mean lets say this is real, we will have GTX 1080 / RTX 2070 performance for... I'll say 300$ because we know MSRP ain't a real thing, that's great and very competitive however...

AMD is actually not bringing ANY competition to the GTX 1080 Ti yet? it'll have been 2 years already... we're just getting a V64 for competitive pricing.

We don't know what other cards AMD will be bringing the table, what we have is just speculation. They could have a direct competitor with the 2080ti for all we know... Only time will tell.

This might be shaking the gpu market soon if this "allegedly" adverb turns out to be a real deal.

If it was even as fast as a 2070 it would be at least double that price so this doesn't seem very credible to me.

1. This doesn't follow all of the guidelines for a Tech News thread.

2. That would be great for the community, and the beginning of the rapid decline of NVIDIA. They thought they were panicking before, well now AMD is just fucking with them.

You also have to consider that, not everyone is out there buying 1080 ti.

The best selling GPU is actually the 1060 and other cards in the same price range, so this card being significantly faster than it would actually be quite attractive for the majority of gamers out there.(the difference between a 1080 and a 1060 is benchmarks is not negligible.)
Yes, it is certainly lagging behind on the "high end", but we have to consider the cost of these cards compared to the cost of said "high end" cards it's taking the place of.... Not to mention AMD hasn't really competed on the high end spectrum of things in a long time really, they are about that sweet performance per dollar value.
