Car Enthusiast Club [Now Motorcycle friendly!] - First thread to 150k! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

Ths was pretty funny too.

Can't what for the new show.

Yep I'd gladly do time...if I caught them in my garage probably not get any time at all. I have a wife and my boy is 22 and I'd expect him to come and help, I'm sure he would.

Mow stop running your lips about stuff you don't understand, go do what i said to give yourself a education about human nature of the gear head come back here and we'll discuss it some more.

lethal force to protect property is not legal, you'd prolly do time unless your life was threatened

a better idea would be fore you to get yourself an education on morals and whats really important in life

I think you might be confusing "human nature of a gearhead" with "human nature of people with anger management issues"

Have you done what I have suggested? if you feel that is too dangerous for you just search "car prank gone wrong" on you tube that will give you a idea of what some of us feel about are cars. I do understand you might not be able to grasp this, some people Just don't get it they are known as pussy's over here, it is possible you could be one of those,i couldn't say for sure but you are sounding a bit like one to me.

yeah... seen that vid before, hitting someone with a taser is much different than breaking their back or taking a hammer to them...  If someone is messing with your car or trying to steal it, tase away.  hell, kick his ass, knock him out (or her)

but taking a hammer to someone is potentially killing someone.  if you think thats ok to do over something completely replacable (and money and the time you put into working on a car or bike is replaceable) you have some very serious issues.  if someone threatens your wife or kid, or even some random person, by all means, use any force you see fit to protect them, I'm all for that.  but we're talking about insured replaceable things here...

also, just cause I think a thief doesn't deserve to die or have serious life altering injuries doesn't make me a theif.

but either way, its obvious you're not changing your mind about this.  I'm not going to reply about this subject anymore

Guys guys guys. This volvo:

Super-Amazon-01.jpg

is for sale! For ~$41K USD, you too can own this 750HP BMW V8 single turbo Gatebil monster! Donor car is a Volvo Amazon, though most of the body panel is fiberglass and has been gutted for a tube chassis. Power reaches the ground via a GTR R32 AWD system, legendary for it's ability to route power as a RWD or AWD car.

Doubt it's a phone, more like a tablet unless it's a Note or something.

Some aftermarket ECUs have pretty extensive mobile apps, in case you don`t want to pay extra for a Racepak digital unit or aren't using the full Motec system.

But yes I agree it does look weird. He could have at least used a Nexus 7 :P

Edit: the Amazon uses a "Samsung GALAXY Note II running a MaxxECU digital display"
