No he would say it's a lie, it's actually clocked at 2.66Ghz and it was actually a Xeon.

I can say, at the very least, that I'm kinda happy that patrick was finally banned. He always felt like a prick, and I tended to get irritated from his arguments more than anything.

Patrick would regularly (like pretty much in every single AMD-related thread) start arguments with people while pulling the most absurd claims out of his ass (such as a insisting that a delidded AM4 bristol ridge chip was an old xeon model that happened to not exist), would provide no evidence to back up his claims ("I have a source, I won't tell you who it is tho"), would ignore evidence to the contrary, and pretty much tell everyone on the regular all about how they're stupid and he is smarter because he went to college for longer than they did.

 

Guy was a prick and a pain in the ass for users, let alone mods who had a sense of humor about him for far longer than he deserved.

They keep showing multithreaded and physics and artificial benchmarks.

This is pretty much useless to any consumer who is just gaming or using regular non-rendering programs.

 

The 7700k is much better than a 6950x for gaming, so it's pretty safe to assume that the single core performance of the new AMD CPUs wtill still be bad...
