The GTX 1070 is not overkill for 1080p gaming.

Yes because buying something RGB to be able to incorporate it into different builds later(perhaps) isn't a thing. Yup, anyone who does that is immature. 

 

Are you referring to just red color schemes? Or anything with red incorporated into it?

I do not like Windows 8.1, and after my fresh installation of Windows 10, most of my issues are gone, including the issue I had with updating my video card drivers. As such, Windows 10 is a good OS in my experience. As far as the LEDs are concerned, it depends. The front fan in my Cosmos II(red) is subtle, but my server has the same color for its LEDs, and I think it looks tacky. 

 

LibreOffice>Microsoft Office>Google Docs. I have no experience with Norton's AV, but I have heard that it's gotten significantly better over the years, but I don't plan on using it any time soon.

And yeah, I mean the super-overused red and black colour scheme that all kids use, because apparently it looks "cool".

I like the red/black color scheme, and my build currently has it on the outside. But yes, it is overdone.

You're also implying that something black and red indicates the owner has the mindset of a fourteen year old if they like it, which is an arrogant statement.

Well technically it is a psychological fact that teenage humans are more attracted to those types of colours, and that as people grow up their interest shifts to more gender neutral hues.

But if you like it then that's all that should matter to you. I'm just stating an unpopular opinion.

Cherry switches are sub-par and low-quality.  Especially their tactile and linear switches.

Personally, I despise SFF. I don't hate its existence, in fact it's done a lot of good things (push towards more powerful single cards, progress in PSU's, better and better AIO's, etc.), but I have absolutely no interest whatsoever in building a dinky little machine that's too small to fit anything in. If I had the money, I'd build in a TX10.

My machine has a Hydro GFX 980ti whose logo lights up yellow, a Z97-Pro-Gamer with a red light strip, a white LED rear fan (GPU radiator), a blue LED top fan (so few options for 200mm), and a purple LED CPU block (H110i GT _{Or whatever they're calling it this year}).

I actually kind'a like all the dissonance, makes it look intricate, like a city or something like that.

 

I don't only use LED fans, mind you. I've got two NF-A14 iPPC's on my front radiator, and I actually recently switched out the rear fan with an NF-F12, though I do miss the white light a bit.

I haven't tried the game, but who in their right mind would think it's a Space GTA? Or thought it might be Space GTA in the end.

I think gear aimed at "gamers" looks like arse. I just want something simple with clean lines and premium materials. Examples:

The game itself will be much cheaper,

It'll run on a toaster (as hardware has progressed).

 

A big savings on both soft and hardware, and the game is just as good, but this seems to be a very unpopular opinion (instant weird looks).

MacOS is a nice OS, but the hardware is overpriced.

Windows 10 is awesome.

Windows 8 is so simplified, that it is painful to use.

Tablets are useless gimmick.

Phones over 5 inches are too big to be considered phones and are too clunky.

Consoles have zero advantages over PC.

4k is still too expensive and unsuitable for gaming, yet.

8GB fine for gaming.

Free to play and freemium games are the cancer of gaming.

I don't consider mobile only gamers gamers, they are filth.

Framerate is important and anything under 50 is unplayable.

Android for x86-64 shouldn't be a thing.

Linux is the best OS for browsing the internet, but gets too complicated if you want to do anything else.

Streaming games from a server is unpractical and annoying.

Controllers are useless for 90% games that have ever been made.

Autoaim shouldn't be a thing.

Using autoaim should be punishable by death. /s

Playing shooters on a controller should be punishable by death. /s

 

I am running out of tech related unpopular opinions.

I'm not convinced that your first opinion is "unpopular." Maybe it is in your area, but overall, I don't think so. Your second opinion would require a bit of reasoning behind. How are mobile only gamers "filth"? They are gamers nonetheless, even if they don't fit your subjective criteria. As far as the frame rate is concerned, I'm 100% certain you have a tolerance range of what you consider to be "playable." I bet if a game ran at 49FPS - which fits your criteria of "unplayable" - you would not notice anything unless you saw the frame rate of 49 displayed somewhere on the screen.

The filth part was a bit of a joke, but I don't really like mobile games in general. The screen is too small for a good gaming experience and most mobile games are too simplified and riddled with ads and microtransactions to be something more than a five minute time killer. 

The framerate part, you are right. I might have worded it a bit badly.

What's wrong with above 5''? My G2 is perfect size, especially with it's 75.9% stb ratio. Imo anything below 5'' (doesn't provide such a good experience). 

You can play (almost) any game on a controller that's not an RTS or MOBA, and many of them provide even better experience on a controller. Even for FPS for many people. I'm not one of them but I know many that prefer it over KBM.
