Didn't the Ti on the other thread have a 384-bit bus?

Fuck $1k USD is expensive but if it has the (almost) full GT102 chip with all those tensor and RT cores it should ray trace as fast as the RTX 6000/8000 which cost 6.3k-10k. So..... fair game I guess

It would be very difficult to get a 384 bit buss with 11 * 32 bit GDDR6 chips.

Looks like a typo.

And, I kind of wish this wasn't predictable...

But it so definitely was predictable. Nvidia drops the Ti class, which is really just dropping the Titan's price, when they need to discount the Gx104 dies because AMD is competitive at the price categories. Without that, and clearly a shorter lifespan on this version of the design, they're bringing out the Ti at launch. They're going to want their premium for it, though.

I don't get it we're not getting a VRAM upgrade?

G6 instead of G5X but do you really need more than 11GB?

We're expecting 2080ti, 2080, and 2070 at best, with mid range to follow in a couple months

not really for now, but for VR with supersampling sometimes you defenetly use almost 8GB...so i can see 11GB being useful...12GB would have been nice.

I really don't expect it to be 1000 USD. PNY has a habit of being higher than MSRP for their website atleast. Their 1080 Ti is still 859.00 USD on their site.

Damn, mining prices without having mined a single fraction of a coin

Inb4 there's a way to use the extra Tensor cores for mining :P

Imo $1000 is very steep if you're just going to use it for games. If AMD can come in with significantly better value we might have a decent fight, but I foresee price cuts to outgun AMD's offerings and everyone feeling ripped off

That's an F in the profile pic

over $1000?  there's only one logical solution to this, Like Jen Hsun said, "The more you buy , The more you save" , we need to buy more to save more!

Details separate people.

No kidding.

I think I maybe skipping this gen.  Unless these new cards are like monster crunchers at F@H and BOINC like when Maxwell came out and bulldoze Keplers at it (exception being BOINC projects with DP requirements).  Though, that probably wishful thinking.
