All complaints about moderation that I have been made aware of have either been completely unfounded or the result of misunderstandings or miscommunication, but if there was a case of moderator abuse then we would consider that to be a serious problem, and deal with it accordingly.   C

It has 4 IDE ports (for 8 devices), a CNR slot, and a white PCB. Most motherboards of the time were yellowish green or brown

maybe its just because I spend so much time around servers but 3-4 IDE ports doesn't seem that odd to me

Most motherboards had 1 or 2 IDE ports, maybe 3. If you wanted more you got a PCI IDE expansion card.

One monitor: No flicker issues.

Adding an old ACER monitor i borrowed from my sister: Flicker issues ???????

 

So the flicker issue wasnt the main reason my G7 was dying 🤔

Now its happening on my ACER Predator monitor aswell.. So it cant just be the monitor alone?

This acer monitor is now 4 years old, so i have 1 year left of warranty included with it for electronics..

 

Do i have bad electricity? Another RMA case? Im starting to hate 2021 even more.

 

Somehow having a second monitor makes main/monitor 1 flicker ???

Ahhhh PC world makes me so bloody confused..

 

Praying its not the powersupply, dont want another 200€ out the window.

Finding out my windows almost cleared my entire c-drive makes for some really confusing times..

It even says so on the sockets...

IMO the coolest board is the last one with the weird heat pipe config. I like how the USB ports are just floating up there with a FireWire 400 port just shoved up near the PS/2 ports, and then the PCIe x16 slots actually use the front bit of contactless PCB on a PCIe edge connector.

That looks like the casing for a cheap makeup compact that has a piece of foam with cutouts sized for memory cards.
