Also whats the point of dual wireless headphones expect for saying you can? Is the idea sharing? I mean I have a dual 3.5mm jack AMP that can output to two headphones but I only use one output.

Well, think of it this way.

 

It’s not limited to headphones. If you’re listening to music and there’s a BT speaker in your house. Let’s say your friends come along and you want to share it through that speaker. Just cast it there alongside the headphones.

 

Or when you have 2 speakers that you’d like to cast to. You can.

I made the switch to bluetooth earbuds a while back so the lack of a headphone jack doesn't really bother me tbh. If I'm gonna use my wired headphones generally I'm gonna be home anyway so i generally end up using my laptop.

 

IMO using your phone wired up to anything seems sort of counter intuitive just because of how you have to hold some phones funny of deal with tangled wires in your pocket.

Wires aren’t too big of an issue for me since I only use them while seated

-(what I use it the most) dual audio. Spotify on speaker only, everything else out through my phone speaker. 

 

I used the dual BT while travel on the plane with my girl to watch movies and such.

Well headphones and speakers are technically the same thing. I get what you are saying though. I significance of it being limited to one audio source is the issue. 

 

As for linking multiple things together, thats what Apple made the W chips for. Its why AirPods and soon the HomePod work so well while being completely independent items. Much faster and more reliable than bluetooth.

nah bruh, it's like NFC, I don't stream music over BT, it all goes thru NFC once I tap the phone on it
