Car Enthusiast Club [Now Motorcycle friendly!] - First thread to 150k! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Go to solution Solved by techswede,
26 minutes ago, Drak3 said:

Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

I don't drive it much at all these days, but when I do drive it I have great trouble. Needs a few things done to it to get it going sweet again and then I'll drive it more again. It has a little bit of work done to it but it really needs a new tune but the aftermarket ecu is now obsolete and no one tunes them. Only done about 3000ks in it since I brought it.

That sucks man :/ When they work they are pretty great though.

I also had the budget sedan N14 SLX

I don't eat while driving. I park somewhere and eat. I only eat in my car cause it has AC and it lets me get away from things.

I do the same. I enjoy driving too much that I hate being distracted lol. The most I've eaten while driving was French fries sitting in the cup holder so I didn't have to pay attention to them lol.

I have had many burgers in my car though. Try to keep it clean though, and I keep my car as empty as possible. Weight adds up quick and I like my gas mileage..

I honestly think the Lamborghini Aventador has the best supercar exhaust note ever. It's a combo between brute and elegance, like F1 and muscle. Makes me giggle every time.

OK, you know what, i think we should nominate our favorite exhaust notes. Well, not really nominate, but choose our favorite exhaust sounds in these categories

Best Supercar (V8/V10/V12) Noise

Best 4 Banger Turbo Noise

Best Supercharged Engine Noise

Best 6 Cylinder Turbo Noise

Best 4 Cylinder Non Turbo Noise

Best V8 Noise

Best Muscle Car Noise

Best Truck Exhaust Noise

Best Wagon Noise

Note: these engines are stock from the factory, no additional engine upgrades, except maybe a better exhaust system. that's it.

Feel free to suggest more categories. :D

I'm gonna look like some rich kid wannabe... But I love new Porsches because of their combination of a somewhat small design, speed, handling, and most importantly god do I love that logo. 911 GT3 is my dream car (although that'll probably change to whatever the most recent model becomes by the time I can even afford one).

i rode my moped through the woods on twisting narrow dirt roads, beautiful scenery and the noise of a happy 50cc 2-stroke putting away = 155% more relaxing than 10 days on vacation.
