I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

thought I would share a pic of my 97 M3 had this car from 2005-2014 ,had to sell it (I did not want to) .IMO one of the best cars ever made one day I will be getting another.

there are a few cars that use the same reservoir for brake and clutch. Sounds like your protege may be one of those cars. You may need to bleed the clutch too.

Aw crap, didn't know that either.

Just changed transmission fluid in my car today and it made a world of a difference. Shifts much smoother, a bit quieter on the highway, less vibration. quite nice!

jc, can transmission fluid affect gas mileage?(i guess ill be finding out for sure this week) (less friction??)

edit: also i noticed my brake fluid is a bit low. I have some DOT4 at home, pretty sure DOT3 is in the car(its compatible with both). I know they can mix, but i dont want to open a sealed, full brake fluid container for my car if its gonna go bad quickly. how long is brake fluid good for once you open the can?

the way brake fluid can go bad is by absorbing moisture. If you open it, just make sure it is in a dry environment in storage.

Almost brand new, only 2500km, navigation, leather, etc...

The car cost $30k new, and I got it used at almost half price :)

Just thought I would share...i think its the best looking "affordable" mid sized sedan.

Who doesn't like the E36?

BTW, I still can't believe that some cars are old as fuck, as an example, our E34 is 21 years old, 21!, and it still works like a charm and is an absolute joy to drive

I want to keep it, but I'll probably move to the UK or NA :(

Weirdo.

An equinox?

Woulda expected a Mustang or something because of tha name and all... lol

lol, I just love the interior of the Equinox. The dash looks amazing and I love the white seats.

If cost wasn't an issue my dream car rn is probably a Lincoln MKC with the 2.3L EB engine. Basically a glorified Escape with the engine from the new Mustang.

At least until the Model X comes out.

~~

Lol. that's awful. While EV's seem great, the fact that there are no gears (other than possibly a high and low) is sad.

I love gated shifters too! and your chances of missing a gear diminish substantially lol so you dont have to concentrate quite as hard

I don't think they ever will, Tesla tried a high/low tranny in the Roadster and it kept breaking, simply couldn't handle the torque.

That gear selector I posted was from the Lincoln MKC btw (6-speed auto), not the Model X.

Eh. shifting is second nature for me.

Unless it's a car I haven't driven before, then it takes my a minute of two to get used to it.

I just think they look pretty. Not very practical, but they look nice :D

Well ive never driven a manual before myself. So i cant say its second nature. But I do it all the time on assetto corsa with a G27 xD

I want to but no one has a manual around me for to try to drive xD

I have a feeling one day Im gonna go buy a car with a manual tranny and im gonna hop in it for the test drive and just drive it, hoping that I really know what im doing LOL
