How much more money do you spend on the aesthetics of your pc?

Air tree

Just spout off a number you spend extra just on the looks of your pc. I would say 500+ In some peoples case.

$200. That's usually what I am willing to spend extra for aesthetics. For example, I paid $40 extra for a Corsair C70 over a Fractal R4 because the R4 is too simple. I spent $40 on sleeved extensions, an extra $20 on a modular PSU, an extra $20 for LEDs, an extra $20 for Corsair SP fans, $30 extra for a better looking graphics card, etc.

I bought a couple of coloured cable extensions.  And MSI cards to go with the colour scheme I wanted.  And a couple of fractal case fans to put on my rad to match the other fans.

So maybe $60 extra?

Idk it depends on how aesthetic you define something like an R4 over a $30 case.

I have never made a pc hardware choice yet based on aesthetics and paid more to have it look better.  Even my purchase of the HAF 912 was all about price and performance even though the case looked much better than my previous $20+ cases.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

Not too much, Duct Tape and Zip Ties are rather cheap these days :)

I don't waste too much time making my personal rigs look "nice"

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

I'll spend whatever is required.

I won't settle for performance alone.

Core of the Pc. Than aesthetics. And yes, Aesthetics are still very important. My case is silver/white on the inside (cheap type).

To love is to risk not being loved in return. To hope is to risk pain. To try is to risk failure, but risk must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing.

Right now, 30€ (price of my PC case). It may look ugly, but the main thing is that it works. I don't care about aesthetics right now.

Never trust my advice. Only take any and all advice from me with a grain of salt. Just a heads up.

If I just bought things based on specs with out taking into consideration how I want them to look I would easily save about 500 bucks in total on a complete build. I am just anal and want things to look good inside my pc even if I never use cases with windows.

Yeah there's those of us that have out computer on our desk with a huge window right next to our faces because we have an almost creepy facination for hardware, then there's those who put the computer together, attack the solid side panels, put it on the ground out of the way and forget about it. Personlly I am still buying things to make it look nicer. LED's, Ikea desk, SP 120's, corsair 350D, etc.. Probably about $250 on aesthetics so far.

Only victors are allowed to live... this world is merciless like that.

I am upgrading from a haf 912 to a fractel design, but only because its a much better case. I wont have to spend so much on canned air
