Judging from some of the statements the Donald has made since Tuesday, he isn't going to be as conservative as his campaign pictured him as being. 

 

1. Keeping several of the mandates of the ACA such as pre-existing conditions. Most of the ACA is garbage and this is coming from someone that is progressive left.

2. Appears to support LGBT.

3. Stopping free trade pacts which ironically should be a leftist idea but for some reason his supporters have this anti-globalism hard on right now which is the opposite of capitalism. You can thank Carter and all of the neoliberals after for that.

The ironic fact out of all this though is that Obama has deported more illegals than any previous President and yet according to some he is bringing them over with welcoming arms.

Trump doesn't know what he stands for in terms of actual policy. I remember him being pro-trans about a year ago when he welcomed trans women to use the female toilets in his building. Then he decided that in order to beat Ted Cruz he needed to go after the ultra-religious, get Mike Pence in, and go full on Christian Sharia Law.

 

Maybe, hopefully, the racism and misogyny and populism (as well as the promises to lean on the judiciary to imprison political opponents such as Hilary Clinton without charge or evidence) were a ploy to get the crazies to vote for him and that he absolutely intends to go back on everything that he said. His first target seems to be Net Neutrality so far, so well done for that one.

 

Ironically if he is as moderate a President as he wasn't a candidate, he could not only really piss off everyone who voted for him, but with such right wing extremists in government (such as Pence) as well as Republican control of both houses he could find it very difficult to get anything done.

 

The real concern, however, was how divisive his campaign was. He campaigned on a neo-Nazi platform, and whether or not that's something he intends to follow through with other neo-Nazis and neo-Nazi organisations such as the KKK now feel vindicated. Most people who voted Trump are not neo-Nazis, however they joined their side in this election. As such neo-Nazi ideals and actions have been officially vindicated. Expect to see a massive rise in hate-crimes. In the UK hate crimes increased 57% after Brexit. There were ways that Globalisation and Sovereignty issues could have been presented in responsible ways, but instead fear, racism and xenophobia were the platform and the impact has been noticeable. This rise of the far right is not only limited to the US and UK. Look at the rise of organisations like Front National in France, Golden Dawn in Greece, Alternative for Germany. Fascism and Nazi ideals are gaining momentum across the West.

15 States don't have laws that state their representatives must give all electoral votes to the major vote winner of that State.  It is rare, but this could be the first major occurrence of more than one or two "roguish" representatives voting the opposite.

After reading up on the whole Muslim immigration thing I honestly have to agree I dont want Muslim refugees in the US that strictly adhere to their religion. The Muslims of the middle east arent like the ones in the USA that are friendly and kind. They live by a religion of oppression and violence. Though I dont think we should make them register or where arm bands, I do think we shouldn't allow Mulsim refugees into our country though Muslims that were born and raised in modern Europe are most likely not religion nuts like the others. Especially after reading about the violence and rape that happened in Europe by refugees. My opinion changes the more I read and to my knowledge after speaking with Obama in the white house the few points of the ACA which is that a company cant terminate or raise your premiums due to health or pre existing health and the fact that you can stay on your parents coverage till you 26 which benefits school students like me going for degrees beyond a masters, so I think I no longer have any reason to be against Trump. Let it be known I still wanted Bloomberg in an ideal world.

I can't lend support to a religious sect where its ok to throw gays off rooftops or women are respected no more than a goat. I've met kind Muslims in the USA so it isn't Muslims that's the problem, it's an incompatible culture that has no business in a western society.
