As a european citizen, some things confused me.

 

First of all, i believe that america is a horrible place to live since i've learned a lot about how things work since i started watching Last Week Tonight.

Just a note: i believe that this isn't the fault of president X or Y, but just the way america became the country it is today through the years. There are massive cultural changes and i don't like most of them.

 

Also i've heard that somehow now trump is president, russia is going to attack europe? How does that even work?

 

Anyway, democracy decided he is the new president and that's how it's going to be, the end.

People can of course protest or even worse, start riots, but really? At this rate american citizens are just going to kill each other without Trump actually doing anything. Don't forget at this moment Obama is still president. Trump isn't officially president yet so for now he can't do anything.

Yeah, it's fucking scary. The left has gone so far and the right likewise that they can't agree on anything. PC left culture screams "Racist sexist" and every opposing argument, while the rights stuck in a state of denial, with xreationism and climate change denial. Overall, I think the right is far more dangerous, but both are terrible. If only the DLC wasn't rigged and the Berner went through.

Well, i didn't know both parties were that mad... I knew the people that didn't like trump were doing insane things but i didn't know they both do it.

Anyway, i just recently figured out that Berney Sanders (i think that's the person you are talking about?) was the most popular one and not Hilary.

 

Which is sad, i wasn't really paying much attention to the whole thing but i did manage to figure out that imo Berney was the best option, but he somehow wasn't selected, at least i know why now.

 

Anyway, it is a big mess and i always wondered what would happen if trump won, i guess i'll find out when time goes by

The media here is getting bad, really bad. The more attention i pay to it the more flaws i find. I just stopped watching the news and everything because it's horrible.

I really hope that this place isn't heading the same way the american media went to because that would be awful, i think the whole election thing says enough about the media.

Not really the "economy" spectrum that's 100% freedom is actually to the right, a Libertarian or Anarcho-Capitalist is basically the ultimate anarchist.

 

A hyper liberal would advocate for 100% personal freedom but also a socialist distribution of wealth not really ultimate economical freedom. This is because one can see (and imho correctly so) that allowing ultimate freedom would concentrate finite resources on the hands of very few thus ultimately negating freedom for many others (The economy fully unchecked would tend towards mega corporations and globalization)

 

This is a very strong point of disagreement where Libertarians claim the individual should be free to earn as much as he is capable of while the Classic Liberal would argue that unchecked economies would mean eventually 0 opportunities for most.

I'm not planning to use it, don't worry  I just want to know what it means, when people yell it now i'm just like "dafuq?" and that's not exactly useful.
